Matsuya 'Nishi-Urawa Station Store' Drops 'Opens July 4 at 10 AM' Notice, Returns to Standard Listing

It has been found that in Matsuya’s store listing, the temporary notice announcing the opening date and time has been removed from the name of Matsuya Nishi-Urawa Station Store (2287), which opened on July 4, switching it to a standard listing. The store is co-located with Matsunoya and is located in Sakura Ward, Saitama City.

The ‘*Opens July 4 at 10 AM’ Notice Is Removed

Until now, the store listing showed the name as “Matsuya Nishi-Urawa Station Store (co-located with Matsunoya) *Opens July 4 at 10 AM,” with the opening date and time notice attached. As of July 9, this “*Opens July 4 at 10 AM” notice has been removed, leaving the standard listing “Matsuya Nishi-Urawa Station Store (co-located with Matsunoya).” At the same time, the scheduled opening date information set for 10 AM on July 4, 2026 has also been cleared. A few days after opening, the pre-opening notice has been tidied up.

Second Store in Sakura Ward, Saitama City, a 24-Hour Store Co-Located with Matsunoya

Nishi-Urawa Station Store is a Matsunoya-co-located store located in Tajima, Sakura Ward, Saitama City, which opened on July 4. It operates 24 hours a day, with a late-night surcharge of around 7% applied from 10 PM to 5 AM the following morning. It is the second store in Sakura Ward, Saitama City, following Matsuya Urawa-Machiya Store (0608), which was added to the store listing in March.

Matsuya currently has 101 stores in Saitama Prefecture, of which 42 are Matsunoya-co-located stores. Nishi-Urawa Station Store, too, has joined Sakura Ward’s 24-hour network in the Matsunoya-co-located format, where customers can enjoy both Beef Bowl and Tonkatsu at a single store. With the opening notice that had been displayed right after opening now removed, the store listing has shifted to presenting it as one of the “standard” entries alongside existing stores.
