Matsuya App's Pork Miso Soup Set 70-Point Notification Goes Casual: "We'll Give You…ッ"

From 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Matsuya launched the Matsuya App-exclusive “Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set Bento Point Boost Campaign.” Customers who order a qualifying Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set for takeout through “Matsuben Net” or “Matsuya Mobile Order” receive 70 Matsuya Points. The campaign runs through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 28 (based on the pickup date and time), and “Matsuben Delivery” is not eligible. On the same day it began, the campaign was also announced through a push notification in the Matsuya App.

The Notification Abbreviates “pt” and Adds 🐷, While the Official Notice Uses a Polite, Formal Tone

The app notification’s title read “9/15(Tue) 10:00～✌🐷＜豚汁買ってくれたら《70pt》あげちゃうッ” (roughly, “If you buy miso soup with pork & vegetables, we’ll give you 《70pt》ッ”), and the body read “今だけ‼️《豚汁》テイクアウトで松屋ポイント＋70pt 🍲✨” (roughly, “Just for now‼️ Get Matsuya Points +70pt with 《miso soup with pork & vegetables》 takeout 🍲✨”).

The official notice dated September 14 announcing the same campaign is written in a courteous, formal register: “本キャンペーンは、期間中『松弁ネット』及び『松屋モバイルオーダー（テイクアウト）』にて対象のメニューを購入いただいた方に、松屋ポイントを70ポイントプレゼントいたします。” (roughly, “During the campaign period, customers who purchase eligible menu items through ‘Matsuben Net’ and ‘Matsuya Mobile Order (takeout)’ will receive a gift of 70 Matsuya Points.”) The notification recasts this in a casual, spoken style—“if you buy it, we’ll give you…”—and also shortens “ポイント” to “pt.”

Point-grant notifications in the Matsuya App have so far been written in a consistent style, summarizing the offer in an objective voice in full-width text, such as “〇〇ポイントプレゼント” (“〇〇 points gift”). The “pt” abbreviation, the first-person-sounding phrase “あげちゃうッ” (“we’ll give you…ッ”), and the 🐷 emoji did not appear in earlier point-grant notifications.

17 Eligible Items, Including the Beef Bowl with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set

The point grant applies to 17 “Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set” items, which combine a classic menu item with miso soup with pork & vegetables. They fall into beef bowls, other bowls, and set meals.

• Beef bowls: Beef Bowl with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Beef Bowl topped with Green Onion and Soft Boiled Egg w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Beef Bowl topped with Grated Radish & Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Beef Bowl topped with Cheese w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Bowl of Mixed Simmered Beef and Kimchi w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Iburigakko Beef Bowl with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set (sold only at Matsuya stores in Akita Prefecture)
• Bowls: Boneless Short Rib and Kimchi Bowl w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Beef Bibimbap Bowl w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Matsuya’s Yakiniku Beef Bowl with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set
• Set meals: Set Meal of Grilled Beef w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Set Meal of Grilled Boneless Short Rib w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Yakiniku Pork Loin Set Meal with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal with Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Tomato Hamburg Steak Meal w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set / Set Meal of Hamburg Steak in Brown Sauce w/ Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables

The Tomato Hamburg Steak Meal and the Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce Set Meal qualify in all sizes; customers choose the number of hamburg steak patties and the amount of rice, then purchase the “Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set” that appears afterward. The 70 points granted are not eligible for Matsuya Point multiplier boost campaigns. Eligible stores are Matsuya locations nationwide, with some exceptions: Haneda Innovation City Store, Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store, and expressway PA stores are excluded.

A Separate Offer from the “Up to 70 Yen Off” Deal That Started the Same Day

Another campaign involving miso soup with pork & vegetables also began at 10:00 a.m. on September 15. Announced in a September 10 notice, the “Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set for Classic Menu Items” lets customers add miso soup with pork & vegetables, normally 240 yen on its own, at a discount: 30 yen off with a beef bowl, 50 yen off with a bowl, and 70 yen off with a set meal. The effective prices come to 210 yen with beef bowl items, 190 yen with bowls, and 170 yen with set meals.

The 70 in “up to 70 yen off” and the 70 points in this point boost are different things. The discount applies when the miso soup with pork & vegetables is added as a set to a classic menu item, while the points are a bonus for ordering a qualifying Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set via app takeout. Because the same “Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set” name and the number “70” overlap, the ordering route and conditions differ depending on which benefit you are after.
