Matsuya's Official X Announces Consecutive Openings of New Matsunoya-Attached Stores: Toyokawa Hachiman and Gamo Yonchome
Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) announced two new store openings on the night of July 2 under the heading “New Store Notice.” It reported that Matsuya/Matsunoya Toyokawa Hachiman (Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture) opened on July 1, and Matsuya/Matsunoya Gamo Yonchome (Joto Ward, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture) opened on July 2, adding, “Toyokawa, Gamoyon — when should I go?” hinting at its own eagerness to visit both stores.
New Stores Open Two Days in a Row in Aichi and Osaka
| Store | Location | Opening | Hours | Co-located |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Matsuya Toyokawa Hachiman (2279) | 9 Shimotenno, Hachimancho, Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture | July 1 | 24-hour | Matsunoya |
| Matsuya Gamo Yonchome (2320) | 1-7-4 Imafukunishi, Joto Ward, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture | July 2 | 24-hour | Matsunoya |
Toyokawa Hachiman is located near Hachiman Station on the Meitetsu Toyokawa Line, making it the second Matsuya location in Toyokawa, following the existing Matsuya Toyokawa store. Gamo Yonchome is near Osaka Metro’s Gamo Yonchome Station, known by the nickname “Gamoyon,” and marks Matsuya’s first store in Joto Ward, Osaka.
Both Are 24-Hour Stores with Matsunoya Attached
Both stores launched as 24-hour operations with the tonkatsu chain Matsunoya attached. Matsuya has recently been opening new stores and renovating existing ones nationwide into 24-hour formats combined with Matsunoya, and these two openings follow that same trend. Customers can enjoy Matsuya’s Beef Bowl and Set Meals alongside Matsunoya’s tonkatsu at the same location.
Editor's Note
A rush of new stores back-to-back in Aichi and Osaka, both with Matsunoya attached. We get it — the official account can't decide which one to visit first.
