Matsuya will hold the “Kids’ Waku Waku Set Point Boost Campaign” exclusively through the Matsuya App from 0:00 on Friday, September 18, 2026 through 9:59 on Tuesday, October 6. Ordering the eligible “Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set” or “Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set” via Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order during the period earns 50 Matsuya Points. Both sets drop from their regular 450 yen to 400 yen through an automatic in-app coupon during the campaign, and combined with the 50 points granted (worth 50 yen), they come out to an effective 350 yen.

Two Sets Covered: Beef Bowl and Curry and Rice

The two eligible items share the same regular price, post-coupon price, and points granted, as shown below.

Menu Item Regular Price After Coupon Points Granted
Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set 450 yen 400 yen 50 points
Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set 450 yen 400 yen 50 points

The Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set consists of rice topped with Beef Bowl filling, a small pot holding a sausage and potato salad, a Morinaga Mammy drink, jelly, and Egg Furikake. The tray comes with an originally designed spoon and fork.

The Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set has the same composition, except the rice is topped with curry instead of Beef Bowl filling.

The post-coupon price of 400 yen undercuts even the 430 yen Small Serving Beef Bowl, Matsuya’s flagship item. The regular price of 450 yen also sits exactly between the Small Serving Beef Bowl at 430 yen and the Regular Serving at 460 yen — placing these two items at the top of the Kids’ Menu price range — but during the campaign, the discount brings them below the price of a Small Serving Beef Bowl on its own. The 50 points granted are separate from this discount and can be applied toward future payments.

Available via Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order

The announcement image carries the phrases “App exclusive,” “Bento OK too,” and “Comes with original merchandise,” indicating that takeout bento orders are covered in addition to dine-in.

Points are granted only for orders placed via Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order within the Matsuya App; Matsuben Delivery is not eligible. Eligibility is determined by the pickup date and time, and the 50 points granted are excluded from any bonus point multiplier boosts.

Eligible stores are Matsuya locations nationwide, excluding the Haneda Innovation City Store, Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store, and stores inside highway parking areas. The offer is limited to menu items sold at each participating store, and it may be unavailable if stock runs out.

Since both items share the same price and points granted, the way to meet the conditions is simply to order whichever one you want through Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order, with pickup scheduled within the campaign period.

A Kids’ Menu Point Campaign Running for Over Two Years

The identically named Kids’ Waku Waku Set Point Boost Campaign began in June 2024, and this marks its tenth run. Every installment has granted points exclusively through the Matsuya App, repeating every two to three months. The previous run took place from July 21 to August 18, 2026, and repeated the exact same details as this time — the same eligible items, the same 450-to-400-yen pricing, and the same 50-point grant.

Lining up past announcements shows that a few conditions have shifted gradually over time. The points granted were 100 for the first two runs in June and August 2024, then switched to 50 points starting with the November 2024 run, and have stayed at 50 points ever since. The two eligible items were originally priced at 400 yen, then raised to 450 yen sometime between the September 2025 run and the February 2026 run. The campaign’s discount amount, meanwhile, has held steady at 50 yen off across that price increase — 400 yen to 350 yen before the increase, and 450 yen to 400 yen after. The eligible ordering channels have also shifted: there was a period with three channels including Matsuben Delivery, and a run limited to Matsuya Mobile Order only, as in February 2026, but the most recent runs have settled on the two channels of Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order.

Point campaigns promoting the Matsuya App have been announced in a cluster during the second half of September. A campaign granting 70 points on the Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Set Bento is running from 10:00 on September 15 through the 28th, and a campaign doubling points on night-time orders via Mobile Order and Matsuben Net is running from 18:00 on September 15 through the 28th — and now this campaign, starting September 18, joins them. All three overlap in the latter half of September, and while their targets and conditions differ, the announcements keep stacking extra points onto app-based orders. The Kids’ Menu comes with original merchandise, and the items given away have changed with each collaboration so far.

Editor's Note

A window where the Kids' Set, discounted, comes in cheaper than a Small Serving Beef Bowl. If there's a set you're after, ordering it through the app looks like the way to go.
