Matsuya to Run Store-Limited 'Autumn Point Rebate Festival' in October, Tripling Points on Mobile Order
The 3x and 2x Rebates Differ by Order Channel
Matsuya has posted an announcement on its official site’s store-limited page for a Matsuya Point rebate campaign called the “Autumn Point Rebate Festival.” The campaign offers 3x Matsuya Points on orders via Matsuya Mobile Order and 2x on orders via Matsuben Net, with the announcement image listing the campaign period as 0:00 on Thursday, October 1, 2026 through 23:59 on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The point rebate campaign appears as a section on the same page that normally lists store-limited food menu items.
The announcement image splits the rebate details left and right. The left half reads “Limited to Matsuya Mobile Order orders!” for the 3x Matsuya Points rebate, while the right half reads “Limited to Matsuben Net orders!” for the 2x rebate. The design uses an autumn-appropriate color scheme scattered with Halloween pumpkins and point coins, with a large “Autumn” character placed prominently as a seasonal campaign visual.
One point to note is that the treatment differs by order channel: the Matsuben Net side carries a note stating, “*Orders via Mobile Order (dine-in/bento) are not eligible.” The image describes Matsuya Mobile Order as “Easy ordering from your smartphone! Pick up without waiting in line!” and Matsuben Net as “Easy bento reservations online! Simple pickup in store!” — with the 3x rebate set for Mobile Order, picked up in-store, and the 2x rebate set for Matsuben Net, where a bento is reserved online and picked up at the counter.
Matsuya Point Rebate Rates Vary by Membership Rank
The bottom of the image also lists the Matsuya Point rebate rates by membership rank. For Matsuben Net, the rate ranges from 6% for Bronze members up to 15% for Diamond members, and for Matsuya Mobile Order, from 1% for Bronze up to 7% for Diamond — the base rebate rate rises as rank goes up. Rank for the following month is determined by the total amount spent in a given month, and the monthly spending required for each rank is also shown by rank.
| Membership Rank | Matsuben Net | Matsuya Mobile Order | Monthly Spend for Next Month’s Rank |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 6% | 1% | First-time |
| Silver | 10% | 3% | 1,500 yen or more |
| Gold | 11% | 4% | 3,000 yen or more |
| Platinum | 12% | 5% | 4,500 yen or more |
| Diamond | 15% | 7% | 10,000 yen or more |
The image also includes the phrase “6% even for first-timers!”, emphasizing that 6% is awarded from Bronze rank (first-time) on Matsuben Net. Alongside this, there’s a QR code encouraging downloads of the Matsuya App and a notice reading, “Definitely a great deal! Discount coupons are also being distributed!”
Campaign Covers 10 Listed Stores, 8 of Which Are Co-Located with Matsunoya
10 stores
This rebate festival is offered on a store-limited basis, and the list of eligible stores page shows 10 stores nationwide. These span 8 prefectures: 2 in Hokkaido (Hakodate Kaji Store and Sapporo Utsukushigaoka Store), 2 in Wakayama Prefecture (Kinokawa Ohashi Store and Wakayama Mukai Store), and 1 each in Tokyo (Shibuya Miyamasuzaka Store), Osaka Prefecture (Soyora Nagahara Ekimae Store), Miyagi Prefecture (Sendai Ichibancho Store), Gunma Prefecture (Ota Shimotajima Store), Ehime Prefecture (Imabari Kitamura Store), and Oita Prefecture (Oita Ino Store). From Hokkaido to Ehime and Oita, the lineup shows no particular regional pattern.
Of these 10 stores, 8 — all except the 2 in Wakayama Prefecture — are co-located with Matsunoya, with only the 2 Wakayama stores, Kinokawa Ohashi Store and Wakayama Mukai Store, operating as Matsuya-only locations.
Mobile Order 3x, Matsuben Net 2x Continue from September
The combination of 3x on Mobile Order and 2x on Matsuben Net was also announced in September. The 3x Matsuya Mobile Order point rebate ran through September 14, while the 2x Matsuben Net point rebate was announced in succession throughout September under pickup-time-restricted names such as “Gogotoku” (pickup between 14:00 and 18:00) and “Yorutoku” (pickup between 18:00 and 23:00). This is also not the first time “autumn” has been paired with a point campaign — on September 15 of the previous year, 2025, Matsuya ran the “Autumn Point Hunting Campaign,” offering 3x points on Matsuya Mobile Order.
As a campaign bearing the name “Rebate Festival,” this is the first since the “Matsuya App Cashless Rebate Festival” held from February to March 2026, which was rolled out by payment brand across PayPay, Rakuten Pay, au PAY, and d Barai. However, while that earlier campaign centered on specific payment brands, this one carries no payment brand name and instead puts forward a rebate on Matsuya Points itself, under a seasonal name.

Editor's Note
The 3x and 2x point boosts that ran in September have become a full month-long rebate festival in October. Heading into October with a higher membership rank could make quite a difference in how many points come back.
