The post itself didn’t give the specific discount amounts or new prices, sticking to the fact that the change had taken effect and the phrase “more affordable prices.” The phrase “Matsuya also sells just the side dishes” used here echoes similar wording from the September 3 official X post — “Side dishes only, at Matsuya.” and “Just want the side dish” — continuing a message built around buying side dishes on their own.

Breakdown of the Price Cuts

The attached image, under the heading “All Prepared Foods Price Cut,” shows that the various Beef Plate DELI items dropped 80 yen to start at 290 yen, while the various Yakiniku DELI items dropped 140 yen from 590 yen to start at 450 yen.

The cheapest, Beef Plate, now costs 290 yen, while even the priciest, Tomato and Cheese Beef Plate, tops out at 520 yen. Among these, Beef Plate used to come in two sizes — Regular Serving and Large Serving — but the Large Serving option (480 yen before the cut) has been dropped, leaving only the single 290-yen Regular Serving size. The other five items were already sold as single-size items with no size options. Separately, the October 21 notice states that Beef Curry & Rice DELI is not offered at stores that also house a My Curry Shokudo.

Point Campaigns Starting at the Same Time

Two point campaigns tied to MATSUYA DELI also began on the same October 27.

One grants 50 Matsuya Points for purchasing eligible MATSUYA DELI items, running from 3 PM on October 27 through 11:59 PM on November 2. It covers Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order, but not Matsuben Delivery.

The other doubles the points earned when choosing a pickup time between 2 PM and 11 PM on Matsuben Net, running from 2 PM on October 27 through 11 PM on November 9. This one isn’t limited to MATSUYA DELI — it covers Matsuben Net purchases in general — and excludes Matsuya Mobile Order and Matsuben Delivery. The timing puts the price cuts alongside an overlapping point rebate for app-based purchases.

The Story of “MATSUYA DELI” So Far

MATSUYA DELI is a takeout prepared-foods series that went on sale nationwide at 10 AM on September 1, 2026, following a test sale that began July 7, 2026. From the Nationwide Release on September 1 through the 15th, Matsuya ran a “Trial Fair” offering a discount for set purchases, but that was a special price for buying a set; this time’s change lowers the regular price of the individual items themselves. The price cut comes just under two months after the Nationwide Release.
