Matsuya Hakusan Branch Reopens July 1 After Temporary Closure Since June 15

Matsuya’s store information saw a batch of changes dated July 1. Matsuya Hakusan Branch (0126) in Bunkyo, Tokyo resumed operations at 10:00 AM on July 1 after being temporarily closed since 3:00 PM on June 15, while Matsuya Toyokawa Yawata Branch (2279) opened the same day in Toyokawa, Aichi. Three branches in Tokyo and Kanagawa also changed their business hours.

Hakusan and Toyokawa Yawata Branches Begin Operating July 1

Matsuya Hakusan Branch (1-9-23 Mukogaoka, Bunkyo, Tokyo) had been temporarily closed since 3:00 PM on June 15, and resumed operations at 10:00 AM on July 1. It is a Matsunoya co-located store, and operates 24 hours a day.

Meanwhile, Matsuya Toyokawa Yawata Branch (9 Shimotenno, Yawata-cho, Toyokawa, Aichi) opened on July 1. This is also a Matsunoya co-located store, operating 24 hours a day. It is the second Matsuya location in Toyokawa.

Business Hours Changed at Three Branches

As of July 1, business hours were changed at three branches in Tokyo and Kanagawa, as shown below.

At Fuchinobe Kitaguchi Branch (Fuchinobe, Chuo-ku, Sagamihara, Kanagawa), where last orders are taken 15 minutes before closing, the opening time moved up from 8:00 AM to 4:00 AM and the closing time was extended from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM the next day, expanding business hours from 16 to 22 hours. Hino Misawa Branch (Hino, Tokyo) shortened its hours from 24-hour operation to a 22-hour schedule of 4:00 AM–2:00 AM the next day, while Shinozaki Branch (Edogawa, Tokyo) moved the opposite way, switching from 4:00 AM–2:00 AM the next day to 24-hour operation.

A Day of Change at Five Branches, Centered on Tokyo

Of the five branches affected this time, three are in Tokyo (Hakusan, Hino Misawa, and Shinozaki), one is in Kanagawa (Fuchinobe Kitaguchi), and one is in Aichi (Toyokawa Yawata). Two branches converged on the same 4:00 AM–2:00 AM next-day schedule, while others shifted to 24-hour operation — suggesting Matsuya is reviewing its late-night and early-morning operations on a branch-by-branch basis.
