Matsuya: Renovations for Matsunoya Co-location Converge on 3 Stores Including Oyama on July 1

On July 1, store activity tied to Matsunoya co-location conversions overlapped at three Matsuya locations. Matsuya Oyama store (0078) in Tokyo and Matsuya Gokasho store (0634) in Shiga both entered temporary closure for renovation at 3 p.m. the same day, while Matsuya Shusenji store (1347) in Fukuoka reopened at 3 p.m. the same day after a temporary closure.

Oyama and Gokasho Enter Temporary Closure at 3 P.M. on July 1

Matsuya Oyama store (58-2 Oyama Higashi-cho, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo) entered temporary closure at 3 p.m. on July 1 for renovation, and is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. on July 16 as a store co-located with Matsunoya. Matsuya Gokasho store (5-2 Gokasho Yanase-cho Kamigawara, Higashiomi-shi, Shiga) also entered temporary closure at 3 p.m. the same day, with reopening scheduled for 6 p.m. on July 25. Both renovations will add a co-located Matsunoya.

Shusenji Store Reopens Today

Matsuya Shusenji store (3-11-10 Shusenji, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka) reopened at 3 p.m. on July 1 after a temporary closure that began at 3 p.m. on June 22. It is a store co-located with Matsunoya, operating 24-hour operation.

Matsunoya Co-location Conversions Continue

Matsuya is proceeding with renovations to add co-located Matsunoya locations across the country. In June, the Senbayashiomiya store in Osaka, the Iwade store in Wakayama, and the Higashiomiya Ekimae store in Saitama all reopened as Matsunoya co-located stores, and the Nirasaki store in Yamanashi is scheduled for a renewal opening on July 7. These three stores in Tokyo, Shiga, and Fukuoka are part of this nationwide trend.
