Matsuya Kashimada Store Expands Hours from 9 AM–Midnight to 24 Hours

Operating hours have been updated one after another at multiple Matsuya stores. As of October 1, five stores across Kanagawa, Ibaraki, and Shizuoka prefectures revised their hours, with Kashimada Store (0261) and Saginuma Store (0967) moving to 24-hour operation. At the same time, other stores scaled back part of their late-night hours from round-the-clock operation, or extended or shortened their hours — the direction of the changes varies store by store.

Old and New Hours at the Five Stores

Kashimada Store and Saginuma Store switched to round-the-clock operation. Hitachi Sakuragawacho Store, conversely, ended its 24-hour operation and moved to hours of 5 AM to 2 AM. Isogo Store extended its hours, pushing opening back from 7 AM to 6 AM and closing forward from 11 PM to 3 AM, newly adding late-night operation. Gotemba Store restructured its hours by day of the week, switching to 24-hour operation from Tuesday through Thursday, opening at 5 AM on Monday, and operating until 2 AM on Friday and weekends (opening at 5 AM on weekends). At Gotemba Store, last order is 30 minutes before closing on every day of the week.

Kashimada Store Has Expanded Late-Night Hours in Stages

This is not the first time Kashimada Store has expanded its hours. In April 2026, its closing time, previously 10 PM, was extended two hours to midnight. This time it has gone a step further, switching to 24-hour operation about five and a half months later. The store has expanded its late-night hours in two stages.

Mostly Kanagawa Prefecture Stores

Of the five stores whose hours were revised this time, three — Kashimada Store, Saginuma Store, and Isogo Store — are in Kanagawa Prefecture. Kanagawa is one of the regions with the highest concentration of Matsuya stores nationwide, with many stores clustered around Kawasaki City and Yokohama City. The remaining two stores are Hitachi Sakuragawacho Store in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and Gotemba Store in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, with Gotemba Store distinguished by its detailed day-by-day hour settings.

Matsuya sets detailed late-night operating formats on a store-by-store basis, and many of its stores operate 24 hours. On that same October 1, Odakyu-Sagamihara Store and Shibata Store also switched to 24-hour operation, and hour revisions continue to take place across the country.
