Matsuya Launches "Comeback Campaign" with Up to 70 Yen Off on Matsuben Net

Matsuya launched the “Comeback Campaign” on its takeout reservation service, Matsuben Net, on September 1. Targeting Matsuya App members who haven’t placed an order via Matsuben Net in over six months, the company is distributing “Comeback Coupons” offering up to 70 yen off on 12 Beef Bowl, Bowl, and Set Meal items. The campaign runs from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The coupon is automatically delivered to eligible members’ app ordering screens and can be used as many times as desired during the campaign period.

The 12 Target Items Are Beef Bowls, Bowls, and Set Meals, with Discounts in Three Tiers: 30, 50, and 70 Yen

The coupon discount amount varies by product category, set in three tiers: 30 yen off for Beef Bowls, 50 yen off for Bowls, and 70 yen off for Set Meals. The higher the price range, the larger the discount. All 12 target items are listed below, with all prices shown tax included.

The maximum discount of 70 yen off applies to four Set Meal items. Among them, the Yakiniku Pork Loin Set Meal, normally the cheapest in the Set Meal category at 790 yen, drops to 720 yen with the discount. The Yakiniku Beef Set Meal and Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib Set Meal are both normally 890 yen, putting them in the same price range as the Pork & Kimchi Set Meal (not included in this coupon).

Target Menu Items Changed from the Previous May Campaign, Back to Matsuben Net Exclusive

A campaign of the same name, “Comeback Campaign,” was also held in May 2026. It featured the same 12-item structure as this time, though some of the items have changed. The four Hamburg Steak Set Meal items that were included in May — Demi-glace Egg Hamburg Steak Set Meal, Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal, Cheese Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal, and Half-and-Half Beef Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal — have been dropped from this coupon, replaced by four newly added items: Umatoma Cheese Beef Bowl, Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl, Yakiniku Pork Loin Set Meal, and Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal. The remaining eight items — Extra Green Onion Spicy-Savory Green Onion & Egg Beef Bowl, Oni-oroshi Grated Radish Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce Beef Bowl, Cheese Beef Bowl, Kimchi Beef Bowl, Kimchi Kalbi Bowl, Beef Bibim Bowl, Yakiniku Beef Set Meal, and Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib Set Meal — have remained on the list continuously since May.

There’s also a change in the available ordering channels. In May, both Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order were eligible, but this time it’s back to Matsuben Net exclusive, with Matsuya Mobile Order and Matsuben Delivery explicitly stated as not eligible. Matsuben Net is a takeout reservation service that lets customers order in advance and pick up without waiting, supporting advance payment methods such as PayPay, d Barai, au PAY, and Rakuten Pay.

Also on September 1, Matsuya launched the Matsuya Mobile Order Triple Point Campaign (running through September 14), which conversely excludes Matsuben Net and Matsuben Delivery. Which promotion offers the better deal depends on which ordering channel is used.

Buzzworthy Newcomers Added to the Coupon Lineup

Among the items newly added to the coupon this time are some that saw recent activity. The Kimchi Kalbi Bowl in the Bowl category is a one-day-only item that just debuted on Meat Day, August 29, and just three days later it was added to the Matsuben Net coupon nationwide. Its regular price of 690 yen drops to 640 yen.

The other Bowl, Beef Bibim Bowl, is a product whose Bibim Sauce was just renewed on September 1 — the very same day the campaign began. The sauce refresh and the start of the discount landed on the same day. The Beef Bibim Bowl also drops from its regular 690 yen to 640 yen. The Umatoma Cheese Beef Bowl, newly added in the Beef Bowl category, is normally 690 yen — the most expensive Beef Bowl item aside from the Roast Beef Bowl (1,150 yen) — and is offered at 660 yen with the 30 yen discount.

Terms of Use and Eligible Stores

The coupon is available only to Matsuya App members who registered by February 28, 2026, and who have not placed an order via Matsuben Net between March 1 and August 31, 2026. The method of looking back over a six-month non-order period, measured from the end of the month prior to the campaign’s start each time, follows the same approach used for the May campaign.

Eligible stores are Matsuya locations nationwide, excluding the Haneda Innovation City Store, the Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store, and stores located within parking areas. Other notes include: Miso Soup is not included with takeout orders and requires an additional charge; shareholder benefit vouchers can be used on all target menu items; and items cannot be provided if sold out. Eligibility for the campaign period is based on the pickup date and time.

How to Order via Matsuben Net

Since the coupon is automatically delivered to eligible members’ app screens, the discount is applied simply by placing an order through Matsuben Net if you’re eligible. Here’s how to order via the official Matsuya App.

First, tap the “Order Here” button in the center of the app, or “Place an Order” at the bottom of the screen.

From the list of ordering channels, select “Matsuben Net” at the top.

Select the store you want to use. You can search by store name or current location.

Specify the pickup date and time.

Choose your desired items, then tap “Proceed to Checkout” to move to the payment screen.

Finally, select a payment method and tap “Confirm Order” to complete the process.
