On September 1, 2026, Matsuya Foods will hold the “Matsuben Net New User Achieve Campaign” for new members of Matsuben Net, the takeout reservation service on the Matsuya App. The campaign runs from Tuesday, September 1 through 11:59 PM on Wednesday, September 30. Anyone who registers as a new member on the Matsuya App during the period and places two or more orders of 500 yen or more on separate days via Matsuben Net within 30 days of registration will receive 200 Matsuya Points. The campaign is limited to new Matsuya App members; existing members are not eligible.

The Conditions: “New Registration + Two Orders of 500 Yen or More on Separate Days Within 30 Days”

The official hero image shows the path to achieving the reward in three steps: (1) register as a new member on the Matsuya App during the campaign period, (2) place two or more orders of 500 yen or more on separate days via Matsuben Net within 30 days of registration, and (3) receive 200 Matsuya Points.

One point to note: placing two or more orders of 500 yen or more on the same day counts as only one order — the condition strictly requires two orders on separate days. Orders placed via Matsuya Mobile Order or Matsuben Delivery do not count; only Matsuben Net orders are eligible. Eligible stores are Matsuya, Matsunoya, My Curry Shokudo, Sushimatsu, Shoken Chinese Dining, Matsutaro, Steak-ya Matsu, Steak Set Meal & Bowl Matsugyu, Mugi no Toriko, and Tukkun² locations nationwide, excluding stores inside parking areas and similar.

The Takeout Reservation Service “Matsuben Net” and Advance Payment

Matsuben Net, the service covered by this campaign, is a takeout-only reservation service that lets customers order in advance and pick up with zero wait time. Matsuya Points accumulate based on the amount spent, and accumulated points can be used in increments of 10 points (1 point = 1 yen) when ordering via Matsuben Net, Matsuben Delivery, or Matsuya Mobile Order.

PayPay, d Barai, Rakuten Pay, au PAY, Merpay, Alipay+, WeChat Pay, and credit cards can all be used for advance payment, and the official site states it is “a better deal than purchasing at the ticket vending machine.”

How to Order via Matsuben Net

The official campaign page walks through the steps for ordering via Matsuben Net. First, tap the “Order Here” button in the center of the app, then select Matsuben Net at the top.

After selecting a store, specify the pickup date and time. Orders are accepted up until 1 hour and 30 minutes before closing time, and the pickup time can be set anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours after the store’s opening time.

How to Order to Capture the Full 200 Points

The condition is “500 yen or more per order” on two separate days. Matsuya’s signature Regular Serving Beef Bowl costs 460 yen, so on its own it falls 40 yen short per order. Straightforward ways to clear 500 yen include the Beef Bowl Lunch Set Regular Serving (530 yen), which comes with a salad and miso soup, the Kimchi Beef Bowl Regular Serving or Oni-oroshi Grated Radish Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce Beef Bowl Regular Serving (560 yen each), the Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Morning Meal (550 yen), or the Sausage & Egg Set Meal (530 yen).

If you place a 530-yen order on two separate days, that’s 1,060 yen total for 200 points — a rebate rate of roughly 19%. Even two orders of exactly 500 yen add up to 1,000 yen for 200 points, and the accumulated points can then be used in 1-yen increments (10-point units) on a future order. The design is such that adding one more item to a Beef Bowl, or upgrading to a set meal, is itself the step that meets the condition.

The Fourth Round, With Conditions Unchanged Since the First

This 200-point campaign for new users is now in its fourth round, following its debut in November 2025 (announced in October 2025), and subsequent rounds in February and June 2026. Looking back at the past announcements, the wording for “500 yen or more,” “two or more orders on separate days,” “within 30 days,” “200 points,” and the list of eligible stores has been identical character for character each time, with only the month of the campaign changing. What has varied between rounds is the range of advance-payment brands supported — Alipay+ and WeChat Pay, which were not available initially, have since been added, broadening the payment options.

For Matsuben Net, the official X account announced the day before, on August 30, that the “Matsuben Net Double Point Campaign” is ending soon, meaning this new-user acquisition campaign arrives right as Matsuben Net’s point program is being swapped out. In addition, a separate Matsuya Mobile Order Triple Point Campaign (September 1–14) has also been announced for the same September 1 start date. That campaign targets the Mobile Order channel rather than Matsuben Net and has different conditions for earning points, making it a distinct promotion.

Editor's Note

A Regular Serving Beef Bowl alone falls just short of 500 yen. Whether to go for a set meal or add one more item — it's worth planning your order strategically.
