Matsuya's 'MATSUYA PASS' for October Now Covers Limited-Time Menu Items Too

Matsuya’s discount subscription pass “MATSUYA PASS” for October was announced on the official Matsuya X account at 8:00 PM on September 29. The post opens with the line “MATSUYA PASS you can use starting in October!” and states that both the Card Version, purchased in-store, and the App Version, purchased within the Matsuya App, are now on sale. The discount terms remain the same as before — 100 yen off Set Meals and 70 yen off Beef Bowl, Bowl, and Curry and Rice items — but the post goes on to say “This time it also covers limited-time menu items…!”, revealing that the scope of the discount has expanded.

Card Version and App Version On Sale for 200 Yen

The post explains that the “Card Version is available in-store” and the “App Version is available within the Matsuya App.” The attached announcement image shows the App Version labeled as “Newly Added,” with a usage period of 30 days from the start date. The Card Version is listed as usable from 12:00 AM on October 1 through 11:59 PM on October 31.

Both versions are priced at 200 yen (tax included). The discount amounts are “100 yen off Set Meals” and “70 yen off Beef Bowl, Curry and Rice, and Bowl,” with a note attached stating “*Morning Meals and some menu items are excluded.”

Limited-Time Menu Items Were “Generally Excluded” in Past Announcements

The text of past MATSUYA PASS announcements included a note on the scope of the discount stating, “*Limited-time menu items and store-limited menu items are generally excluded.” In this October announcement, that line has changed to “*Limited-time menu items are now generally included as well.” Limited-time menu items have been added to a discount that was previously centered on classic menu items.

The post’s line “This time it also covers limited-time menu items…!” is a direct paraphrase of this change in the announcement text. The discount amounts (100 yen off Set Meals, 70 yen off Beef Bowl, Bowl, and Curry and Rice) and the 200 yen sale price remain unchanged — only the scope of eligible items has expanded.

The October MATSUYA PASS was announced on September 24 as coming in two versions, App and Card, with the App Version going on sale on September 26. This latest post reports that both are now on sale, while adding the change to the discount’s scope.
