The Official Names Behind “MEGA Serving Bowls” and Where They Fit in the Fair

The “MEGA Serving Bowls” mentioned in the X post refer to two items that Matsuya is selling nationwide, except at some stores, from 10:00 on October 13 to 10:00 on October 20: the “Boneless Short Rib and Kimchi Bowl MEGA Serving” (1,200 yen) and the “Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl MEGA Serving” (1,140 yen). The fair itself is called the “MEGA Serving Fair,” a one-week-only promotion that increases the meat to double that of a regular large serving. Both items are a revival, extended to a full week, of the “Large Serving Boneless Short Rib and Kimchi Bowl” and “Large Serving Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl” (at the same prices), which were sold for one day only on August 29, “Meat Day.”

This campaign, in which 30 people win 1,000 Matsuya Points for following and reposting, is also a regular lottery that has been repeated alongside new product launches. Starting with the first one, held on April 7, 2026 to mark the launch of the “Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese,” it has kept the same entry method, prize amount and number of winners (1,000 points for 30 winners), and this is now the 22nd round.
