5 Stores Swapped from the Previous Item; Kyushu and Hokkaido Excluded This Time

In the store-limited bowl category where the Loco Moco Bowl is entering, the ‘Seared Rib Finger Bowl’ (70 stores, 27 prefectures), released on August 25, was sold until just before. Compared with the previous item’s participating stores, 65 stores continue and 5 stores have been swapped.

The 5 newly added stores are 2 stores in Gunma (Matsuya Tatebayashi Store and Ota Shimotajima Store), Higashikurume Minamimachi Store in Tokyo, Takaishi Store in Osaka, and Hirosaki Takada Store in Aomori. On the other hand, 5 stores dropped out: 2 in Fukuoka (Meinohama Store and Onojo Yokomine Store), Oita Ekimae Store, Aira Kajiki Store in Kagoshima, and Obihiro Shirakaba-dori Store in Hokkaido.

As a result, the 4 prefectures of Fukuoka, Oita, Kagoshima, and Hokkaido, which were included for the previous item, now have zero stores. In their place, Gunma rises from 3 stores to 5, Tokyo from 15 to 16, and Osaka from 6 to 7, and Aomori is newly added. The number of participating prefectures changes from 27 to 24.

A Hawaiian Bowl Joins the Store-Limited Bowl Category

Various bowls have rotated through this category so far, including the Poke Bowl (March 24), the Beef Steak Bowl (released April 21), and the Seared Rib Finger Bowl (released August 25). The preceding Seared Rib Finger Bowl was discontinued just 7 days after its release, and this new item arrives after a gap of about 6 weeks. After a run of meat-focused bowls such as beef steak and seared rib finger, the Hawaiian-born Loco Moco Bowl, pairing Hamburg Steak with a sunny-side up egg, joins the category.

Editor's Note

Hamburg steak topped with a soft sunny-side up egg, and Hawaii suddenly lands in Matsuya's bowl lineup. If it's at one of the 70 stores near you, you're in luck.
