This is not the first time the Beef Bibim Bowl sauce has been renewed. On February 24, 2026, a sauce overhaul was also announced as “Bibim Bowl Gets Tastier in Renewal,” together with a trial campaign making the Matsuben Net-exclusive Beef Bibim Bowl Bento 100 yen cheaper, making this the second sauce revision in six months. The Bibim Bowl has been one of Matsuya’s signature bowls since its debut in June 2004, going through limited-time sales, becoming a regular item, and being renewed repeatedly, and the current “Beef Bibim Bowl” went on sale in August 2024.
