松屋、Amazonプライム感謝祭で人気4種32食セットを1食約206円に

On October 15, Matsuya announced a bulk-buy set of frozen mail-order food items on its official X account. Timed to coincide with the early sale ahead of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, the set bundles four popular items—Beef Bowl Topping, Pork Bowl Topping, Curry and Rice, and Beef Bowl Burger—into a 32-meal pack priced at 6,599 yen, or about 206 yen per meal. The post reads, “The main event starts tomorrow at last!” Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days officially begins the following day, October 16.

What’s in the 4-Item, 32-Meal Set

The set contains four types of frozen single-serving packs, all of which can be prepared in a home microwave. The announcement image shows each product’s packaging alongside a serving example.

• Beef Bowl Topping (Premium Edition, 120g). The package carries the label “Series Cumulative Sales Top 100 Million Meals.”
• Pork Bowl Topping (135g), described as having “the light flavor of a secret sauce.”
• Original Curry and Rice (180g), accompanied by the line “a spicy aroma that’s sure to bring you back.”
• Beef Bowl Burger

Of the four items, the Beef Bowl Burger is a mail-order-only product launched on Matsuya’s online shop in February 2013 and does not appear on store menus. Mail-order sales of Matsuya’s frozen single-serving packs—including sets of Beef Bowl Topping and Original Curry and Rice—have long been a standard promotion, and this Amazon-linked sale falls within that same lineage.

Frozen Bulk-Buy Follows July’s Prime Day

This marks the first time Matsuya has timed a frozen food sale to a major Amazon event since July’s Prime Day. During that July 6-13 Prime Day, the early sale offered a 30-meal set of Beef Bowl Topping at about 216 yen per meal. When the main event opened on July 10, both the Matsuya Store and Matsuya Meat Power Store brands offered special pricing on items including Beef Bowl Topping and Original Curry and Rice, and Matsuya Meat Power Store also posted urging customers to secure a 12-Serving Eel Pack. The special pricing ended at 11:59 p.m. on July 13.

Whereas the previous set consisted of a single item, Beef Bowl Topping, in a 30-meal pack (about 216 yen per meal), this time the lineup has expanded to a 32-meal set combining four items—Beef Bowl Topping, Pork Bowl Topping, Curry and Rice, and Beef Bowl Burger—at about 206 yen per meal.

“Do You Have Room in Your Freezer…?”

The post closes with the line “Do you have room in your freezer…? 👀” The July 6 Prime Day announcement also raised the issue of freezer space before a bulk purchase, saying “Better clear out some freezer space now…!” This announcement’s image likewise shows a freezer packed tightly with single-serving packs.

The early sale is already underway, and the main Prime Big Deal Days event begins October 16.
