On October 14, 2026, Matsuya Foods announced on its official website a d Barai campaign that returns d Points for advance payment, as part of its “Matsuya App 6 Million Members Milestone Campaign.” It runs from 0:00 on Friday, October 16 to 23:59 on Tuesday, November 3. Customers who pay at least 800 yen (tax included) in advance with d Barai through mobile ordering such as Matsuben Net get up to +15% back in d Points (limited-time, limited-use), and first-time and returning users get up to +20%.
The Third Payment Brand for the 6 Million Milestone: From PayPay Through Rakuten Pay to d Barai
This d Barai campaign is the third payment brand to carry a cashback offer under the “Matsuya App reaches 6 million members” banner. Two earlier waves have already been announced and run: the PayPay Coupon (announced September 29, October 1 to October 31, up to 10% back) and the Rakuten Pay cashback (announced September 30, 10:00 on October 1 to October 15, up to 10% on weekdays and up to 15% on weekends and holidays).
Cashback under the same milestone banner continues without a break, with some overlap. The Rakuten Pay wave ends at 23:59 on Thursday, October 15, and the d Barai wave starts at 0:00 the next day, Friday, October 16. The two periods do not overlap; the offer is handed from one payment brand to the next. The PayPay wave, meanwhile, runs through Saturday, October 31, so for roughly two weeks from October 16 to October 31, paying with either d Barai or PayPay earns the milestone cashback on each order.
Cashback Rates and Conditions: 10 Store Brands Eligible
The cashback rate depends on your order history. Customers who have used mobile ordering before get +15% of the payment amount, and first-time and returning users get +20%. Eligible orders are those placed through Matsuben Net, Matsuya Mobile Order, Matsuben Delivery, and the Matsuben Net Mini App. Customers must enter in advance and pay at least 800 yen (tax included) per order in advance with d Barai. The cap is 300 points per payment and 5,000 points in total over the campaign period.
Eligible stores are 10 brands nationwide (excluding some stores): Matsuya, Matsunoya, My Curry Shokudo, Sushimatsu, Shoken Chinese Dining, Matsutaro, Steak-ya Matsu, Steak Set Meal & Bowl Matsugyu, Mugi no Toriko, and Tukkun². Stores such as the Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store and those located in parking areas are excluded.
Payment Amounts That Reach the 300-Point Cap per Order
Because each payment is capped at 300 points, there is a payment amount you need to hit to receive the full amount in a single order. Customers at +15% reach the 300-point cap by paying 2,000 yen (tax included) in one order, and customers at +20% reach it by paying 1,500 yen (tax included). Paying more than that in one order does not earn more; the cashback for that order tops out at 300 points.
The campaign-wide cap is 5,000 points, which equals about 17 orders if you stack 300 points each time. At the minimum payment of 800 yen, you earn 120 points per order at +15% and 160 points per order at +20%.
+15% and +20% Top the Usual +10% Rate
Matsuya’s d Barai campaigns have typically offered +10% cashback. The rates of +15%, and +20% for first-time and returning users, first appeared in the 60th Founding Anniversary d Barai campaign announced in May 2026, and this one follows it. Up to 20% of the payment amount comes back.
For the previous milestone, 5 million members (November 14, 2025), four brands (PayPay, d Barai, au PAY, and Rakuten Pay) were announced all at once on the same day. For this 6 million milestone, the rollout is staggered: PayPay (September 29), Rakuten Pay (September 30), and d Barai (October 14).
Beef Plate Set Meal Point Offer Overlaps From October 16 to 19
A separate campaign, the “Matsuya App Only Beef Plate Set Meal Point Boost Campaign” (17:00 on October 13 to 23:59 on October 19), is also running. It grants 70 points on the Hearty Serving, Extra-large, Grated Radish & Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce, and Green Onion & Soft-boiled Egg Set Meal of Beef Plate lineup, so for the four days from October 16, when the d Barai campaign starts, to October 19, when that offer ends, the two campaign periods overlap on Beef Plate Set Meal orders. Note that the official announcement does not state whether the two offers can be combined on the same order.
Since Matsuben Net passed 2 million members in March 2023, the Matsuya App membership count has hit one milestone after another, in steps of 500,000 from 3 million (February 2024). The gap from 5.5 million (April 2026) to 6 million (September 2026) was 155 days. The pattern of rolling out payment-partner cashback offers at each milestone continues.

Editor's Note
PayPay, Rakuten Pay, and now d Barai. The cashback keeps rolling on under the same anniversary banner while the payment brand changes, so it's worth lining up at least one of them.
